Visit the charming villages of Auvers-sur-Oise and Giverny which inspired Vincent Van Gogh and Claude Monet.

Vincent Van Gogh spent the last months of his life at Auvers before he died in 1890 and was buried in the small cemetery of the village. Claude Monet lived at Giverny from 1883 until his death in 1926. Thousands of American painters came to France to discover the new French artistic trends and many settled at Giverny.

This tour Includes:

A guided visit to the village of Auvers-sur-Oise and Van Gogh’s grave. Free time to take pictures of the Auberge Ravoux where Van Gogh stayed. After a drive through the impressionist scenery, lunch (drinks included) will be served at the terra café of the Museum of American Art Of Giverny. Free time to visit the museum (entrance fees included) where a beautiful exhibition is displayed from 1 April 1 to July 1,2007: “the Impressionism at Giverny”. Then, you will have the exceptional opportunity of entering with your guide the private gardens*, belonging to the Terra Foundation, before visiting Monet’s home and studio, and his gardens (all entrance fees included, guided visit in the gardens).
